1. Who we are

JobFaster.ai ("we", "us") is a job-vacancy monitoring and alert service operated by an independent individual entrepreneur registered in Armenia, acting as the data controller. Full legal registration details are available on request at privacy@jobfaster.ai.

2. What we collect

• Email address — when you sign up for the digest or create an account.
• Your filters — job titles/keywords and locations you set (including as an anonymous guest, stored against a browser session identifier).
• Account & sign-in — if you sign in with Google, your basic Google profile (name, email) via OAuth; otherwise your login credentials.
• Payment data — handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
• Email engagement — delivery, bounce and complaint events from our email provider, used to keep our sending healthy.
• Technical data — IP address (stored against your account or guest profile, plus your browser and server logs) for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use your data

To send the daily digest you opted into, match vacancies to your filters, run your account, process payments for paid tiers, maintain email deliverability (suppressing addresses that hard-bounce or complain), and secure the service.

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

• Consent — for the digest emails (collected via double opt-in; you can withdraw any time).
• Contract — to provide paid features you subscribe to.
• Legitimate interests — security, abuse prevention, and basic service operation.

5. Email consent & unsubscribe

Digest emails use double opt-in: after you give your address we email a confirmation link, and we only send once you confirm. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe (and a List-Unsubscribe header); you can also unsubscribe from account settings. Unsubscribing stops digest emails immediately.

6. Where your data is processed & international transfers

Although we are established in Armenia, the service runs entirely on infrastructure located in the United States: hosting and your account database on DigitalOcean (New York), email delivery via Amazon SES (US East), payments via Stripe, and sign-in via Google (all USA). Your data is therefore stored and processed in the USA, not in Armenia. For users in the EU/EEA this is a transfer outside the EEA; we rely on these providers' standard contractual clauses / Data Privacy Framework commitments where applicable. We do not sell your data.

7. Retention

We keep your data while your account or subscription is active. If you unsubscribe or delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records (e.g. payment records) by law. IP addresses are kept for at most 90 days of inactivity, and empty guest profiles are removed after about 30 days.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time — email privacy@jobfaster.ai. EU/EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

9. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and remember your guest filters and language choice. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

10. Security

Data is served over HTTPS and access to production systems is restricted. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

11. Children

The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Changes

We may update this policy; we will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you.
